I can’t contain my comment any longer. I read your breastfeeding/beer post (my mama taught me beer goes with bf’ing) on the Stir and it led me here to your blog, where I saw pics of your very sweet Mylo pulling himself up in front of the very same play mat we have at home for my Erik (who in mid March had also just started pulling him self up and walking around holding onto furniture, etc…) I thought, “Hey, my baby is doing that, too… I wonder how old Mylo is…” So then I found this post. My Erik was born on August 12 at 2:18am… Just thought that was cool… I wish you and Jason and Mylo the best. From one almost 8 month old Mommy to another- Hugs!
Hey Kate! You’re awesome. Glad you are no longer containing your comment! Isn’t it so great connecting with other moms who gave birth around the same time as you? August 12th was a Thursday – I know it well. That entire week from Friday the 6th to Friday the 13th is etched forever in my brain. I posted on Facebook the other day that Mylo started taking steps while holding on to things like the TV console and coffee table. It’s amazing how fast they develop. I saw a newborn the other day and was scared to hold him. It was like I don’t even remember that coming out of me! Bitter sweet this whole growing up thing, huh? I look forward to reading more of your comments and hearing all about Erik!
